Last of Lima...

Last day in Lima today and not up to much other than recovering from the excesses of last night! Had a bit of a´cultural´day yesterday, went up into the older part of the city and looked round the cathedral and museum of art. All very nice but getting a bit sick of busy city and nasty traffic fumes, much looking forward to getting to Cusco tomorrow and starting the inca trail. Been taking lots of photos, I promise, but not quite got as far as getting them onto a computer, will try to soon!

Lima

Arrived in Lima 2 days ago after a horrendously long journey where I didn´t sleep for about 36 hours! Spent yesterday recovering from jet lag walking round the city in a bit of a daze... Staying in the Miraflores area which is the sort of modern business and nightlife part of the city, its nice but very westernised and quite expensive(by peruvian standards that is!). Planning to spend tomorrow exploring the old, more cultural, parts in the centre. Hostel is great, hot showers and free fast internet - luxury after ghana!
